Improvised Snow Boots

For some reason, I thought that this

season I could get away without having

a pair of snow boots.

Yesterday, we got quite a bit of snow

so I had to improvise this morning...

tights

the mister's kilt socks

 and 

heeled gray loafers

It worked.  My feet stayed dry :0)

But, I think I may have to break down

and purchase a pair of snow boots after all.
