Seven sparkles on steampunk jewelry, 
Six bells on chihuahua collars, 

The Fabulous Five, 

Four chocolate Minstrels, 
Three stiches in my bottom lip, 

Two Kindle Fires, 
And Margot got a monkey!

Briante's a Senior...in High School

What?  My youngest cousin 

Briante is a senior...in high school?

How can this be?  I suddenly feel rather old.

Well, at least this gave us a good reason to:

frolic around the forest while carrying an ottoman

walk two chihuahuas 

proudly nickname the mister reflector man

play in the leaves

climb treess

get muddy elbows

& take photos of a really beautiful senior.

Class of 2012-

I still can't quite believe it.

The Art of Paddling in a Circle

Two canoes on a sunny afternoon.
The only drama was that Margot thought she saw land and jumped for it.
Only the land was lilypads.   So, she took a swim.  Poor thing.
By the way, the mister and I perfected the art of paddling in a circle.

Turkish Delight

The Millar family went to Turkey on vacation

The Survivor Lap

My Aunt Edie & my cousin Jerri Lynn - both survivors, both awesome.

All the girl cousins - all three of us. (Briante, me, & Anna who drove all the way from Kansas!)

Last night I attended my first Relay for Life.

I didn't get to stay the whole night - but, it was great to see family and friends.

Aunt Edie is a pillar of strength and I think we were all proud to attend the event  in her honor.  

Aunt Theresa & Briante made us all t-shirts that said:

E is for Edie - Our Energizer Bunny. 

I hate cancer.  It's just not fair on anyone. But, thanks to the American Cancer Society

and events like Relay for Life there is hope that there will one day be a cure.
