...and not to be outshined, the little 'litos had 
to strike a pose with their bowties.

It's also really kind of cute, Piper & Margot 
can share their accessories now.  There's more
pink in our bungalow than I ever thought possible.

Four Day Weekends are Exhausting

I adore my chihuahuas.

They remind me that it's okay

to be a bit lazy every now and again-

especially during a four day weekend-

after your Thanksgiving cranberry jello salad

never actually turned to jello.

The Art of Paddling in a Circle

Two canoes on a sunny afternoon.
The only drama was that Margot thought she saw land and jumped for it.
Only the land was lilypads.   So, she took a swim.  Poor thing.
By the way, the mister and I perfected the art of paddling in a circle.

Power Wash

Text Message from the Mister:

"Margot is flipping out. They are power washing the house before they paint."

Poor Margot- I know you can't really tell it in this photo 

but the table she's standing on is only about 12" wide.  Power 

washing is a scary thing.  She looks terrified.

While I was at work today listening

to Jango - I was so excited to see this album cover

pop up.  I had no idea Billie Holiday was a 

chihuahua lover.  Did you?

Playing with Fire

So, the plan was pack the backpack and head to the lake

and read.  I was just about done reading my book.

We walked out to the beach and spread out the red plaid blanket.

And wouldn't you know.  I forgot to bring my book.

But, isn't this a great great fire?  It turns out the mister is a 

most excellent fire builder.  So, it turned out being a successful

trip to the beach after all.

Yep.  It was a lazy weekend overall.

Me and the pups listened to the sweet little bird just singing away,

&

did some bumblebee observing too.
